Studio 20/17 exists within 2 Danks Street, an exciting arts hub with 9 galleries offering Australian and International contemporary art, shops and a cafe. The gallery showcases work by Australian and International contemporary jewellery artists.
Bridget Kennedy and Melanie Ihnen both work in the studio, creating ‘limited edition’ series, commission and exhibition work. Visitors to the space are able to see the work in progress.
Work by Ross Buchanan, photographer, is also available for viewing at the gallery.
Artists are invited to contribute to a regular exhibition calendar.
Studio 20/17 aims to increase the profile of the applied arts within the contemporary art arena.

Hello beautiful girls,
Wow, wow, wow!!! How exciting, I am so thrilled for you both – congratulations. The blog gives me an indication of what you’ve been up to and where you are going (to stardom). It’s something that I’ve always wanted to do but I’m in a different place at the moment (apart from a different country!), my baby boy is the jewel in my eye at the moment. My boxes of tools and materials remain unpacked as yet.
Dubai and the United Arab Emirates in general, is great fun and has an interesting culture, I am enjoying life here. I hope to visit Oz in May/June and you can bet that your gallery/studio is going to be one of my first ports of call in Sydney.
